We decided to go out on Easter for brunch with the family and stumbled upon this typical Brussels' bistro. Although extremely busy, which usually means that it's good, we did not have to wait until they find us a table. Service is fast and the food is quite good and generally sandwich style. There are some nice homemade soups to... More

Visited this place on a Saturday morning having seen it recommended as one of the best places to have breakfast in Brussels. Ordered a Croque Monsieur and a Madame. They were nothing more than toasted sandwiches. Not expensive and not a gastronomic masterpiece.

This is a real Brussels café right in the heart of the city by the flea market, it opens for business at 5 AM , an hour before the market so all the marketeers have their bowl of coffee before opening for business. It is crowded specially on sundays . Clients come by for a beer, coffee eggs and bacon,... More

La place du jeu is the main fleamarket of Brussels, opened daily. And this is where you'll find La Clé d'Or which is a tipical belgian pub. Nothing fancy or trendy, but you can eat there a stoemp or another belgian dish for cheap, with a beer :)

Based upon the Trip Advisor reviews, we recently had Sunday brunch at La Clef d'Or. It was great fun, very lively and friendly and an excellent hearty Belgian breakfast washed down with Leffe beer. It is the Belgian equivalent of a top quality breakfast diner in the USA. For tourists who speak neither French nor Flemish, you can manage in... More

Stopping here was based on a recommendation from a friend. It was a little out of the way for us for a Sunday brunch but well worth the excursion. This is traditional spot, frequented mostly by locals (with their dogs), located by the flea market, with great food at reasonable prices, and where we received great service. This is the... More

A busy local place with a menu of all the typical Brussels cafe bistro food. It's decent and affordable but hardly gourmet!

Really nice place, cozy, with great food (I've tried onion soup) and beers, and really value for money. Also, great service. The place is woody, and reminded me of the twin peaks series. Opens at 5 in the morinig, and closes at 5 (or 6) in the afternoon).

Since our flight arrived early, we looked for a nice place for breakfast. La Clef D'or is a cute very local Belgian place, just outside the flea market. It is open extremely early in case you land just like us, the wooden decor is incredible. This is not the place if you look for luxury, but a great one for... More

La Clef D'Or is a must when you're flee marketing! Great omelets and cappuccino for breakfast. Friendly service. A great place to people watch! Just love this little inexpensive bistro!
