I’m ashamed to say that despite numerous visits to Poechenellekelder – I have never submitted a review. On all of my visits, I have never experienced anything other than great beer and super-efficient service. Plus, when it comes to quirky bar décor, the Poechenellekelder could be stacked-up against any bar in the world. If the fabulous interior, superb range of... More

This is special. A small room with not to much people to see the show. I like that kind of spectacle. It will amuse you, it's visual but you will not understand a word because they only speak in 'Brussels' language ( a mix between french and flamish).

A nice ambience with good service . The food selection is limited but this place is about enjoying a beer in somewhat eclectic surroundings .

Poechenellekelder can be extremely busy especially in the season where you can't sit outside. There are relatively limited number of seats and especially at lunchtime its really crowded and loads of people visit the place without getting in. The interior is a story by itself which you will see as soon as you enter. There beers are the best and... More

We visited here a couple of times for a drink and eating on one occasion and found the food good value for money and the selection of beers extensive with plenty of choice. The place gets very busy and we tried to eat a couple of times but had to go elsewhere so be prepared to have a back up... More

A beer joint with absolutely unique vibe - wooden puppets surround you all over the place. Great beer selection (almost as good as Delirium) with friendly staff, less tourists and more typical Belgian style.

Great place this, next to the Mannekin Pis. Table service only and always a good selection of bottled and draft beer. Just make sure you use beer mats!

A must visit, right by the manneken pis statue. Could benefit from one extra waiter at busier times, but the beer selection is fantastic. Good spot for lunch, with the pasta portions being in excess.

Worth finding, just across the road from the mannekin pi's (which isn't worth finding) very wide range of beers, some food. Lots of antiques hanging from the ceiling. Will go back. One of the "10 best in Brussels"
