The place is nice and cosy, we were seated on stools at a table in front of the bar, but it was comfy, far from the entrance and the cold air plus it was a quiet area in the restaurant which we appreciated since there was a big table celebrating in the back. The menu was appealing but served with... More

It was a cold day in Brussels and the restaurant was quite draughty and not very warm which reduced the pleasure of the meal. We tried the fried artichoke special - was quite disappointed as the outer leaves were quite burnt and tasteless. The veal was good but unfortunately was served quite cold.

We went there to taste Gricia and Cacio&Pepe, and did not come back disappointed. Best pasta I've ever had, since a long time, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great starters as well, the bruschetta with lardo di colonnata and truffels was simply delicious. A bit posh and pricey, but totally worth it. Without mentioning the delicious Riesling wine glass!

The food here is a little on the higher end, a posher take on traditional Italian dishes, but oh so delicious. I recommend the pastas and meat-dishes, favourites being the black truffle pasta or cacio e pepe.

excellent food and cooked according to the original recipe. Pasta alls Gricia and Saltimbocca as if you were in Rome. A true place to discover. Excellent wine card although not all affordable ones.

Biggest italian food rip off... you can find so much better for at least half the price. 19 euros for pasta with cheese and tomato sauce? no thanks. waiters were not talkative or attentive, tables were tiny and cramped up , prosecco was also a rip off. the food was not baddy, just very fatty and EXPENSIVE. not worth going.

Real Italian cuisine like in the best restaurants in Italy. Outstanding fried Artichokes to start and Penne alla Romana just perfect. You feel like you are in the middle of Rome in the best Italy has to offer. Probably the best price/quality ratio for an Italian restaurant in Brussels.

Osteria Romana is one of my favourite restaurants to eat at whenever I come back to Brussels, and it brings me so much joy to bring my Irish friends here and see them try my favourites before quickly falling in love with the place. This is good simple Italian food at its finest. For starters, I always go for the... More

I was with a group of English friends which loved the place, as an Italian I was a bit skeptical. The ambiance is nice, and it even has a small garden area. It was a Tuesday night and the place only had two more tables occupied beside us, but strangely (and I understand that all the dishes are expressly made)... More
