Apart from one of our group nearly being scorched to death by the electric convection heater next their chair, this operation was plumbing such new culinary depths it was practically in the Marianas Trench. I suppose you could say, if you are daft enough to go in here, then you deserve everything you do (or don't) get. Suppiosedly moules frites... More

Le Bourgeois can be another tourist trap near the main place. It looks as some Italian restaurants with narrow tables. I was careful for lunch and I ordered just soup of the day and ordinary main course and a beer. I came early and I sat inside - early March can be cold. I was not hungry or thirsty when... More

The last time I visited Rue des Bouchers before today was 16 years ago but I was very disappointed since the quality of the restaurants in this famous street know as 'the belly of Brussels' has gone so low. This restaurant was not an exception, food and menu nothing special and very expensive for nothing. In my opinion you should... More

The food was amazing. I had fried calamari with salad and my boyfriend had a beef steak with mushroom sauce, french fries and salad. Very tasty!

During my last job travel to Brussels, I remember the good mussles prepared with garlic and the duck breast, good but not exciting. The restaurant is pleasant both outside and inside. Very gentle servide.

Everything was horrible! The food was horrible and the waiter was unpleasant! So bad food, bad service and expensive price! That's a kind of restaurant that you will never forget (so baaad). It's sad that this restaurant is present in the center of this beautiful city.

This whole area is a trap but the food really wasn't that bad for the price. I had the steak and fries with a beer all for 10e. I'm happy when the price reflects the quality of the food.

This area is full of restaurants, and restauranteurs out on the streets tempting tourists to come inside with offers of free drinks. Many places were pretty empty, but Brussels may still have been suffering the aftermath of the terrorist bombs. With all this choice, we sadly picked Le Bourgeois! I had the fish platter, which looked great when it appeared,... More

We had cheese croquettes, fish soup, followed by the Flemish beef stew and moules frites with waffles for dessert from the 18€ menu. The waiters were efficient and food was served quite quickly with the steady lunchtime trade. The food was lovely and a great price compared to the main menu.
