Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great and price reasonable fries, central in Bruxelles. However, while they are worth the wait, the que can be really long at times.

There is always a line out the door for this place, every time we’ve passed by it. But don’t be deterred, the shop is small. We got there at around 5:30 on a Thursday and waited about 10 minutes. We ordered a large frites and...it was so good. It’s the perfect size for two people without leaving you feeling greasy. Sauces are €1 for a single or €1.50 for a double. There are sooo many sauces to choose from. I didn’t even know what most of them were so we went with the Samourai sauce because judging from the huge almost empty tub, it seemed to be the most popular one. It has a kick to it and reminds me of spicy mayo. You definitely need double sauce for the large. I just wish they layered it instead of pouring it all on top. That would probably be my only gripe. Other than that, it was a cheap and delicious snack, perfect for eating while exploring the city.More

We did queue for about 45 minutes to get our hands on the fries but honestly it was worth the wait! We had two portions, one with a sweet bbq sauce and another with the famous andalouse sauce ( a signature Belgian condiment) A must...try in Brussels! The fries were less than €5 which I suppose why there was such a huge queue for them! There has always been a long line, day or night. The fries are crispy outside and fluffy inside. What special is the sauce, and there are several types. I heard Belgian fries are double fried, but I don’t think I have enough a sophisticated palate...to tell the difference. Try yourself and make your own conclusion.More

You wait in a really long line, and the fries are good, but nothing special. I wouldn't wait again. I will say it is not expensive.

Great taste and a great selection of sauces. Knew it would be good as the queue was always at least 20 people deep, will definitely visit again

Good spot if you want a quick bite to eat. Traditional Belgian fries which are twice cooked in I think beef dripping. Tasty but becomes very filling/heavy on your stomach very quickly! Decent value but a huge, slow moving line out the door. Poor girl...alone behind the counter did not stop working and was doing her best but clearly needed some extra help.More

I went on 12/25/2022 at 6:30 pm and despite the queue, it's so worth it! They fry the potatoes right away and they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The attendant was super attentive and showed us the sauces, which were...delicious.More

The best! They were fresh and very crispy. They have so many sauces we didn't know which to choose, so they recommended one and it was simply the best!

Excellent fries with a choice of douzen sauces! Worth doing the line. The fries are served in a cone. There are tables outside.

This is essentially a take away app lace. Deservedly popular so expect a long queue (which I found fast moving though). Great fries and a phenomenal selection of sauces - and really good advice on the latter by the sales assistant. A must go

We ordered the standard fries and the chicken and fish kebab. We really liked the chicken, but it did have a more obscure spice. The fries were well salted and tasted great. The fish however was bland and should be skipped.

Had the line moved faster we would have given it four stars. The fries were indeed fresh and delicious, and you could see them cutting up potatoes while you waited. It was clear the employees were working hard, but 40 min is a long wait...for fries!More
