Have spent an evening in this Irish pub located very close to the EU institutions, I have to add that it is a perfect place for a relaxed evening with friends. Nice selection of Irish and Belgian beers, yummy and fresh food makes this place worth the visit.

Visited with two friends on a Monday night. The place was busy as there was a quiz on and football. However service was not slow and there was always someone available to take our orders. Between us we had a burger( which was extremely tasty and big) plus a few sides dishes. All served piping hot and all large portions.... More

There are a few Irish pubs in Schuman. What is nice about The Old Oak is that it is not too dark nor too crowded. You will not be distributed by loud music nor the conversation of the table next to yours. In winter, may sure that you wear a T-shirt at the base. They are extremely generous in making... More

A cozy atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff is what you get in the Old Oak. For travelers, passersby, or residents, it's a perfect choice for a night out, or to watch a football match. Highly recommended, and, I've been around....

Well this is a real Irish pub in the centre of Europe! If you want a good time, if you want a great atmosphere, if you want to watch a football match with fans while enjoying a nice Guiness or a pub meal, this is the place to be. The pub grub is excellent and the menu contents all. The... More

Having been to the Old Oak a few times for their Monday night pub quiz, we took the opportunity of going for lunch this weekend. As we've always found, the service was very friendly and helpful, as well as being pretty prompt for such a large place. The burgers on the menu are excellent, with a generous amount of meat,... Probably the best fish 'n chips in Brussels - as good as most you'll get back in Blighty. Cold beer, friendly service and football on the tele. What more's to be said.

The bar was nice and not too busy. Unfortunately they had some problems with the till so we had to wait 45 min. For fries, 20 min. For the bill that couldn't be printed. I assume that if we weren't tired and hungry it would have been less painful. That staff was nice and apologetic yet, could have been less... More

I have been here several times to watch football matches, pub is very nice and friendly. Personnel is super and food is very good: I took a steak (very tasty) and onion/chips, but the hamburger is good as well Honestly every I need from an Irish pub.
