Can highly recommend. Choice of two degustation menus, one with less courses, one with more courses. Service was very good, helpful and friendly, and gently attentive. If you go here, be prepared to settle in for a few hours, sit back and enjoy.

What a wonderful dinner we had at La Buvette! We opted for a full menu (10 plates), and while some dishes were stronger than others, it was a very berry tasty experience. Beautiful between Japanese (mostly) and European flavours. I'm not much into desserts (usually I don't order any), but the desserts at La Buvette blew me away. Wonderfully composed,... More

Such a great place! A bit away from the beaten track but definitely worth the 9 Euro it took us to get there from Grand place (or 30 min by foot) Entirely dedicated to natural wine (no chemicals, no additives, no intervention, no sulphites, no nonsense) La Buvette serves a menu of either seven (or was it eight) or eleven... Visited with a group of 7 colleagues. Arrived around 7:15 pm & finished just before 11 pm. We went for the 10 course deal for 64€. An interesting array of creations appeared. The wine. Interesting. Organic from Serbia. Fortunately it only tasted bitter whereas the smell -politely - manure. The restaurant itself is old & quirky but the food delivers... More

We heard a lot of good about this restaurant from friends, so we were very excited when going there. The 7 course menu is truly delicious and every plate is a little piece art for your eye with an explosion of flavours afterwards when you taste. Unfortunately the culinary experience got kind of wasted by an extreme slow service and... More

La Buvette is located in a former art deco butchery. There is a small dining room downstairs and a larger one upstairs. While the downstairs area looks more special, it also is louder and colder, especially in winter time. We preferred to dine upstairs where the tables also are not so close to one another. Dining at La Buvette is... More

The food, ambience and location was great ... we went for the 10 course menu (instead of the 7 course version) which was superb and well portioned (not too much). Their house champagne was excellent as was the Exode white riesling/chardonnay from Serbia. We'll be back!

This was not the first choice restaurant but I think I made a great choice. Made the booking via our hotel. We arrived and the waiter seemed a little stern but I think this was due to the language difference. But as soon as the food started to come we were on to a winner. Each course was superb and... It was our second visit here, the interior is really nice. You should definitely go for the XL menu! The food was great, but some dishes are way better than others. For example, we really enjoyed the oyster veal tartare but the final desert (dark chocolate fondant) was tasty but expected something more exciting/surprising. The only minus to this place... More

Visited La Buvette twice in the last week just to ensure that the incredible experience of the first visit was not a happy accident. And it wasn't. The kitchen offers - at a great value for money rate – two set menus at either 7 or 9 courses. Excellent portioned - just enough to enjoy the taste and still be... More
