This place has by far the best caffe latte in Brussels. Yes, it is pricey at €4.5, but you get a large cup and the milk is so wonderfully frothy and silky that it defies the definition of a caffee latte, almost becoming a category in itself. And the barristas are super nice, quick and all superbly talented to produce... More

Small menu, but the coffee itself is absolutely delicious! Even bought a bag of lovely Ethiopian beans so I can savor at home. Yum!

Aksum is a coffee house near Brussels' city centre with excellent coffee and delicious cakes. As a coffee lover, I have tasted lots of different coffee types and I can say it's great. The dark hot chocolate is also really good! As for the place itself, it's really small and charming. I would definitely recommend going there for a hot... More

It's really a small place just focused on coffee and it's all the better for it. Excellent coffee of which you can also get bags of beans to take home with you. The focus is on Ethiopian coffee. They also have a couple of daily cakes and also maybe a quiche for a small lunch. Worth the small detour for... More

Its a tiny little coffee house not far from the Grand Place serving some of the best coffee in Brussels using their own Ethiopian sourced beans. Hot chocolate is also very good as are the brownies.

Aksum has some of the best Ethiopian coffee beans, freshly roasted and brewed into a warm cup of goodness. Definitely not a spot to miss if you love coffee. Also it is now located in a very classy historical building, interesting by itself. It's not too big, so for sitting inside with your coffee it may be a bit difficult,... More

love the atmosphere of this tiny cafe off the Grand Place - I am a huge fan of their hot chocolate (the dark version) - I think they add nutmeg to it, which is delicious! I can sit their for hours with a book, drinking myself through the menu :-) - expresso and hibiscus tea (bissap) are also favourites of... More

Excellent Ethiopian coffee place that roasts its own beans. Try their cappuccino. The bar is very small though, so avoid the rush hour.

Went for a coffee here whilst waiting for my train, after a Brussels work trip (thanks to raving TA reviews!). I had an Amarula coffee/espresso which didn't quite blow me away, but the hot chocolate and chocolate cake (or brownie of some sort?) didn't disappoint! The place was buzzing, the service is warm and friendly - perfect for a quaint... More

We discovered this little place in the corner of the city center, which turned out to be embracing the greatest Cappuccino ever that you barely could find anywhere else, for sure in Belgium, and probably in the world! Since then we go there at least once a week! If you are a coffee lover, then this is the place to... More
