Have tried a couple of waffle places in Brussels and I consider this to be the best. I prefer the plain liege waffle as its already sweet.

Believe the hype as the waffles are fantastic. However, the service was bad. To be fair, the waitress was serving many tables, maybe she just needed help. We had to flag her down to give our order and then she forgot some items when we got the waffles. Had to flag her down again to remind her 3 different times!

Apart from the biscuits from the shop which I highly recommend trying (although can be fairly costly), this place also serves possibly the best waffles in Brussels. Having tried a few other places for waffles and it may well be subjective, waffles here will not disappoint.

We have been told from the reception of the hotel that dandoy had the best waffles. They have 2 kind of waffles. One is crispy and sweet and another one is soft and salty. We tried the crispy one with jam/chocolate ( sounds more special ) it is good, but it's a bit pricy and fill up, so we didn't... More

We decided to enter in this bar as it was really cold and rainy. The bar is nice a cosy and next to the grand place, but they really make advantage of their position. Staff not at all friendly, very arrogant. We ordered cappuccino and this was more like an American coffee with a bit of milk, no milk foam... More

The service was awful, the waffles were cold, we ate them but felt a little underwhelmed! I'd advise the €1 waffle shop next door!!

Whether you prefer the Brussels waffle or the Liege waffle, this is THE place to get it! There are no Belgian waffles, you know. We prefer the Liege waffle. With the sucre perle (carmelized sugar) you need no more toppings.

We just went for the waffles, which were worth the hype. The tearoom itself is nothing special, but it wasn't too crowded or loud in the late afternoon.

We tried waffles at other stores in Belgium, however a tour guide had recommended Maison Dandoys to us and we were not disappointed! They make them fresh right there in front of you (instead of heating them up like some places) and they were the best waffles I have eaten in my life!!! You must go here!

We both had waffles; one with ice cream and chocolate sauce and another with caramel sauce and ice cream. Although you can get some on the streets for a euro each, we noticed that many were throwing them away because they were so difficult to eat. Both were delicious! We were glad we visited :)
