The restaurant makes a good impression, but - there was non beef dishes despite 3 or 4 in the menu and we had to choose from what the waiter suggested.. The fish was not very good, so in general we were disappointed, especially since it is far from being cheap

Looking for something different, this place can deliver! Initially, walking in to what seems like an unfamiliar elderly relatives living room, you may feel like you want to run back out the door. However, you'll soon sit down to delicious fresh bread and charming engraved cutlery. The small menu offers traditional and perfectly executed classics. I throughly enjoyed a very... More

I arrived in Brussels on a rainy Thursday afternoon and had a couple of tough days of work ahead of me. I decided to treat myself to a good meal, and following the TripAdvisor recommendations, was delighted to find L'Eperon d'Or just around the corner from my hotel. I arrived at 7PM and entered the completely empty restaurant. But the... More

Old fashioned place and menu. Great to get some french and belgian classics with traditional taste in slow motion. I expected more from the winelist.

the place is super nice, you'll feel like at home!! tables are big and the service is great (wine and water refilled by the server, hot bread). The food is very good and presented well, at the end the chef came out of the kitchen for a feedback!! we spend 96€ total (2 person) with 2 courses each, a dessert... More

This restaurant is in the center and touristic area but succeeded to keep the authenticity, personal service, coziness and local very delicious food, all this for very reasonable price. We had there absolutely perfect dinner. We took the fish with creamy heavenly delicious sauce and a local specialty: veal stew (it was a mix of veal and mini meat balls) We... More

This restaurant offered typical slow Belgian service, and food that relied heavily on cream as a base for almost every dish - tasty therefore but really the sole flavour and texture. I had an underwhelming cod dish for main after a fantastic starter of prawns in spicy sauce with apple. For the price I was not happy with the quality... More

Out looking for a nice Belgian rather than the standard Italian and other tourist trap meals on offer in Brussels on a Saturday night, we got totally drenched in the rain. We spotted the menu and the cosy interior through the window so decided to try our luck for a table for 10 people. We were warmly welcomed and tables... More

We choose this restaurant based on TA reviews and the fact that it was close to our hotel. It was Friday evening but only one table was occupied. We ordered duck breast with caramelised onions and pear sauce. The meat was good, but could have been even more soft (although it was not hard or chewy in any way, it... More
