They have a good mitraillette, but disrespectful and homophobic staff. The staff laughing in public and making fun of customers…
We had to make a good queue to get serve, the chips were ok for that price nothing special (We had better in a chip place in Iceland). The service was OK they can use the gloves in my opinion
If you are looking to grab a quick taste of the Belgian Fries, This spot can be considered. The Fries portions were adequate and they have some interesting sauces which you can choose from. The place is usually queued up but moves quickly.

If you are looking for a quick lunch or snack, you’ve found the right place. However, I will say they are average fries and nothing above the ordinary.
Title says it all really. Day 1 in Brussels, the goal was to try some frites. Aware there are better places to try frites in Belgium but this was close and easy for the first try. Can’t say anything other than that they were average....I suppose coming from the UK, where we do chips well, it was maybe unfair to compare? Looking forward to trying some better frites very soon!More
These frietjes are really bad. I ordered a small packet tonight and after one bite i turned around to ask my money back, which they did. If yoy think they are good, you probably never got good fries. In Brussels i know only of 2...good frituur: barriere and place jourdan, but nothing in the centre. In Flanders 2 out 3 frituur are good by my experience. In my opinion fritland does nog deserve thd name frituur.More
There is nothing special about these fries - small chips, over cooked, over priced, poorly presented, much better fries at any restaurant in Belgium, and often better value.
When in Rome...you know. And when in Belgium, you've got to try some fries. So why not go for the one with the longest queue in central Brussels? If people in Belgium line up for these fries, surely they must be good. Yeah, no. I...have no idea what fries other reviewers here have been eating, but it wasn't these. Thin, mealy, half-baked, slumpy and soft. Everything you hope a good Belgium fry is not. They also lose some rating for still serving fries in that old-timey pointy bag. You know, one that will soak the top layer of fries in mayo and will cover your arm in the sauce while you try to dig out those last fries from the bottom. The technology exists to prevent this from happening, and many places serving Belgium fries have figured it out by now. Anyway, save yourself a bunch of time and a mediocre snack by skipping the long queue and opt for another place.More
We felt compelled to try what was on offer here as the queues were constant. We queued for about 10 minutes and opted for the Frite baguette to share at 7 Euro. Staff were friendly, we also ordered a drink and extra sauce which came...to just over 10 Euro. The portion was huge and definitely enough to share, the baguette came with 2 burgers, salad, onions, frites and sauce. The frites were good but tasted just as good as fish and chip shop chips just without the salt and vinegar. We enjoyed the food but I wouldn't rush back for another one.More
It’s our 1st time in Brussels and we tried many frites since it’s a popular ‘light’ or snack food whilst you’re on the go or busy sightseeing. This was a better one for us. Crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside; the mayo...was good too! We thoroughly enjoyed it with some other sides available ie sausages. it gets busy but the line moves fast and there are many servers. Most of them understand English. If you have to choose one, try Fritland. It is worth standing in line!More
This is probably going to be a go-to for a lot of folk coming to Brussels who just want something quick, easy and fast to eat while touring around the city. Fritland usually gets very very busy at all hours of the day and night....We opted for a couple of takeaway portions of fries with sauces, and you get a pretty decent sized portion for your Euros. The ketchup was very vinegary, mayo was nicer though (but there are other sauce options to choose from). Seating is provided inside (limited) and outside (more extensive). Menu wasn't in English so some folk might find it confusing, but the staff are awesome and will help you with any queries. TBH though they weren't really any worse / better than any other fries we had in Brussels but as a handy stop while on the go, it's worth dropping in and it's at least a bit less scabby and disreputable-looking than a few of the cheaper shops selling Frites as a 'side' hustle.More
Frites and Frites Sauce was AMAZING! Cheap, Cheerful, and Quick; making it probably one of the best meals we had in Brussels! Toilets and Inside Seating didn’t have the best upkeep, but couldn’t recommend the food more!
Very good frites, golden crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with fantastic sauces and additions, great example on belgian frites. Fast and friendly service. Prices are very good in comparission to similar prices.
