I was somewhat hungry around the Sablon and Cafe Leffe appeared inviting. It has a good selection of Belgian beers on tap, and I ordered their steak tartar, that came with a salad and potato fries. The fries were good as always in Belgium, the tartar was OK but not excellent. Together with 33 cl of Jupiler beer I paid... More

This place was like a wine bar you would get in the uk but only with beer instead of wine. It was a little bit trendy and a little more fancy than the other pubs we had come across during our stay. The stained glass windows are those you see on a bottle of leffe which made it unique. We... More

While the interior has potential, everything that makes café Leffe is a disgrace for the profession!!! Service is terrible, waiters don't know what they serve and the menu is misleading. Low quality finger food.

We did the same mistake again and went in for late lunch, because we were cold and hungry. Absolute dissapointment, unusual for Brussels. Sat down, table not cleaned, had to wait for 15 mins to get the menu (!), then another x mins to get to order the drinks. Then we were told we will have to wait 40mins (yes,... More

Cafe Leffe is a non-pretentious brasserie. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is honest and generally well-prepared. (The choucroute is not what my wife always orders when we are in the Alsace and the mustard was not Dijon.) The atmosphere is convivial. Our group of five felt is was an informal and quite affordable way to end our... More

Had lunch - or at least wanted to - with friends in this joint. Don't go there is the simple advice. Food was cold, uncooked and served without any excuse to keep us waiting for a croque monsieur of 12€ for 20 minutes. Sorry, waste of time and money

Getting lost in Brussels, I got hungry and looked for a quick bite to eat... I know a couple of Leffe cafes so why not the one in Brussels? Ordered a red wine and Waterzooi, a specialty from Ghent... Wine ok, waiter more than helpful, quite a long wait for the dish... plate straight out of the microwave... not heated... More

Right at Grand Sablon, this cafe is a perfect place to stop for a coffee or beer. Service is efficient, and coffee was good. We did not eat, just stopped to take a break.

With all the amazing eateries in Brussels, we ended up at this dud. We had to fuss to get a menu, fuss to have our order taken and beg to get the bill. The setting is pleasant enough, but not for the tasteless food a price tag. Skip this and eat at home.

Thank Adrienne A
