Yum Yum Yum. If you want a taste the hip atmosphere and food of Brussels, this is the place. Its busy, and lively (always is apparently), but we had a beer while we waited for a seat. Once seated your order was taken pretty quickly, and served quite fast as well. Staff are great too. Despite the speed, the food... More

When you get past the awkward pricing, straining your eyes to see the menu (translating aforementioned menu) and all after what can be a lengthy queue, you have a plate of food in front of you which is well worth the wait. Some of the best soup I have had in Brussels. Among the best beef carbonnade Brussels has to... More

The draw with this restaurant is the convivial atmosphere - menu on a chalkboard and long tables that can be moved around. The food is straightforward and does the trick - lots of choice too. They don't take cards or bookings which can be a bit frustrating.

I ordered a Carbonade Flamande (beef stew made with beer). It was the best meal I've tasted in Belgium. The meat was tender and the sauce was abundant. The attention was also very good. The drink was a raspberry beer (also very recommendable). The dessert was Crème brûlée (very generous portion).

A great value place to dine with locals and enjoy freshly-cooked meals from a limited chalkboard menu. We had carbonnade of beef and sausage and mash washed down with amber beers after a shared hors-d'oeuvre plate of cold meats and cheese. The place was buzzing with a wide variety of people: couples, business groups, students. The pared-down decor and wooden... More

This resto is amazing, food is super delicious and is by far the best in Belgian cuisine without ripping you off! The staff and especially the owner are friendly and super funny! Check also the pricing details back when it was still the Belgian franc ;)

The restaurant is well located, the food is good, the staffs nice, although, the restaurant was cold, and it is not nice to eat in a place in early January with cold, it was very uncomfortable to eat with the jacket on.

I was in this restaurant for dinner with my girlfriend during our trip to Brussels. The dining room is large and designed with a good country style (but not cheap nor excessive). The main reason we chose this place was the food: Belgian cuisine with an interesting variety of dishes and tastes; we ordered sausages with mesh potatoes which was... More

we ordered the tagliatelle with Ragu sauce; the meat was not minced but came in chunky bits ... sounds good but disappointing! The chicken tandoor tasted a lot better but came minced & grilled on skewers with lovely salad on the side & excellent mayonnaise sauce on top ! Tiramisu and Crème brûlée desserts were pretty good. all in all... More
