Beautiful building, lovely interior, friendly and helpful staff, HOWEVER... As someone who has eaten here twice before in 2019, I was upset to realise as we sat down at our table (after waiting 30 minutes in the queue outside) that they would not serve me...any of their food because I have a peanut allergy. After I had mentioned about my allergy, a member of staff came over to inform me that I would be unable to eat there. Although I understand its a preventative measure for themselves, my upset is due to the fact that as I said before, I have eaten there twice (and throughly enjoyed my meals with no symptoms of anaphylaxis) and, there was no mention in either their website or on the menu inside the restaurant of ANY dish containing nuts. They did give us 2 beers on the house as a way to say 'sorry'. This in no way is to bash the restaurant, just a PSA for other nut allergy sufferers.More

I have been coming to this restaurant on and off for several years and every time I come I am never disappointed. The food is local cuisine , extremely tasty with large portions and good selection of choices , like lamb shank . There is...normally a wait time and the restaurant has a very small bar where you can purchase a drink and wait for a table. The restaurant setting is basic( this is the style ) but the food more than makes up for this.More

This is fine dining at very reasonable price. Had three different meals, all were excellent. Ribs, pork knuckle, lamb. They give large portions so order accordingly. Get there before 7 if you don't want to wait. But, it is worth the wait! By far favorite...restaurant in Brussels.More

We heard great reviews, and we tried twice to go, successfully on the 2nd time. Unilaterally our party of 4 agreed that the food was wonderful, the drink great, and the service friendly and fast.

This restaurant is amazing. You can taste typical food in a great location. I really recommend it. The staff was really nice.

Guys... omg!!! This place is awesome! It has great people who can recommend everything, we are Chicons Farci sauce chimay and it was so perfect... top place in Brussels!

Excellent food and beer selection - more beer options than food but then again this is Belgium! Pork spare ribs; pork knuckles; beef stew - these were all great and highly recommended. As is the cheesecake. Friendly staff.

Not a huge amount to say except that you get what seems like traditional Belgian food (big chunk of meat and potatoes) that is cooked very well and has good service. No negatives here.

On our first evening in Brussels before our Tomorrowland weekend started, we thought we'd treat ourselves to a meal out at this highly rated restaurant. Safe to say, we were not disappointed. Before we were even seated, we were awestruck at the beautiful interior of...this restaurant. We ordered the Carbonade a la Biere and the Stoemp Saucisses, both were very generous portions and the flavours of each were fantastic. We had both agreed we were too full for dessert but then saw that they did a Tiramisu Speculoos Creme Brulee and couldn't resist, so shared a portion. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly, I'd definitely return if we're ever in Brussels again.More

Huge portions with Belgian quality food. We had 2 great meals. They do take creditcard, but prefer cash. Would visit again.

Super brasserie selling a selection of Belgian favourites. We had carbonnade that was the most melt in the mouth beef you could imagine plus lamb shank. There are also bistro favourites from around the world such as moussaka and tikka. Everything comes in big portions,...unpretentious it cooked perfectly. Decent choices for veggies. As you would expect a long list of beers, including guest local ales. They do not take reservations so be prepared to wait. It’s worth it.More
