The area is known for the seafood and crustaceans arounf the world - everybody knows the detail with the hat, used for the epty shells! But this restaurant is probably the best representative. Excellent Quality and Service. Prices are kind of high - however this comes very often with this kind of food. All such restaurants in this area close... More

We've had an excellent meal in Les Crustacés in Saint Catherine. We ordered the two menus with lobster and lobster soup and the quality was great, plus it was good value for money. We visited in November.

We went there today (a group of ten friends) and tried their 18 EUR lunchtime menu. I must admit I was surprised by the large choice of the 3 courses. For starters I had pan-fried scallops with a sesame dressing (delicious), my main course was a very tender piece of beef (PAVE DE BOEUF) with a cream pepper sauce, some... More

I visited this restaurant early on a Sunday night, and was among the first customers. The time I needed to wait for an aperitif was quite long, because the staff were just chatting among themselves and playing with their smartphones. They have a menu for a fixed price (25 €, which is very good for Brussels), which is written on... More

Wandered out for a drink whilst staying at the nearby Novotel and spotted this so returned later for dinner. Very attentive waitress found me a table outside on the terrace and I had the set menu ,Lobster soup with Armagnac (big chunks of lobster in the bisque), Ray wing in caper butter and a divine chocolate mousse, This 29 euro... Came her with my mother a Saturday evening around 8pm. Sat outside and had a great grilled lobster with truffel oil. Do try the bigourneaux. The waitress was friendly but not more.

My wife wanted the traditional mussels and fries and we had tie to kill- they seated us even thought it was past lunch time and everyone else was closing to get ready for dinner. Despite being busy they served us as fast as humanly possible and the food was grand. The locals flock to it, so you know it's good!

They served good mussels at a fair price. Seating outside was very cosy. Staff was very friendly as well.

My Sole was fresh and perfect just a little bit too small. Around modest vegetables and french fries just average. My partner's shells and crustacés were excellent. The staff was ok, we got quickly served. All i all, it was correct but nothing special.
