This has long been a favourite for breakfast, brunch, lunch and snacks. Freshly prepared, really tasty and well presented food. On my most recent visit I ordered only a drink: the wrong thing arrived. Soon put right though. The downside: it's so easy to be...More

Real disappointment. Used to go there but today was really average. I ordered a fisherman set. Boiled egg was no longer available and instead they brought me scrambled eggs. Why not but the portion was really minuscule. Only few pieces of bread and only 2...More

I went here on a recommendation and was not disappointed. The location is easy to find, the interior atmosphere is very beautiful and felt very Belgian/French countryside. They have little 2 person tables, or a very long table in the middle that they seat big...More

You have the same decor and food as in all other Pain Quotidien in Brussels. Went there at lunch time and the food had the usual good quality but the staff had bordering on being rude. I know they are overworked but you pay well...More

We were in town visiting from the States and happened to be across the street looking at the church. I had to use the washroom and ran into this restaurant. My husband and i are very strict organic eaters and this place was adorable. I...More

The Pain Quotidien, or PQ as habitués call them, at the Sablon is our favorite for leasure meetings with friends. Went there for brunch on Sunday May 7th and had a great time. Food is good (it's constant and you don't get - bad -...More

Most yummiest brunch I've had in sablon. Relaxing ambiance. Delicious food. Great staff. It's a must try if you are in Brussels. Love to visit again.

Very few places in Brussels to find real good bred. You can eat there, beautiful large room, but you also, as i do, come just to buy your everyday bred. Large choice, countrybred, french baguette, try the Pain au ancien blé, with fantastic traditional taste!

The food was the usual, what you would expect. However, the table service was awful. Very poor quality, knives & forks just thrown on the table, we had to wait a long time for out drinks. The waitress seemed really uninterested.

I came for breakfast with my girlfriend after seeing they have gluten free options available (i have a severe wheat allergy and my girlfriend is gluten free by choice). At first glance it seems that they are very accommodating, stating on the menu that they...More

This question isn't really for me. I just eat there. I suggest you email PQ direct, but wouldn't it be stale by the time it travelled from Belgium to the USA?!

Description
It's found in Paris and New York, but this internationally renowned bakery is a Belgian invention, and many folks admit that this is still the best bread in the city. In truth, it's not just a bakery, but also a patisserie, delicatessen, snack bar and coffee house. Their farmers' bread is still baked by artisans. This shop (as well as its 10 other Brussels locations) has a provincial atmosphere, decorated with pine furniture and cream-coloured walls. The menu includes a selection of open sandwiches (try the typical cheese platter with radish and onions), salads and tarts.
