The ambiance was cozy and inviting, the service was impeccable, and the food... oh my goodness, the food was out of this world!

We had two main courses, a daily offer and something from the menu. None of them gave us a feeling of wanting to come back. However, the coffee was good.
Lovely restaurant with a very inviting and professional staff. Not pretentious but very good quality food. The situation is very appealing! Only few minutes from the main central attractions and shopping streets but so far from the hassle! An absolute thumbs up for « La boussole...brasserie »More
decent food and friendly service but decor is dull. Location is great, though... Prices are a tad too high, but affordable.
We had a nice evening in La boussole. The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly. We ate mussels and grilled calamares: the seafood was nice. However there were no drinks listed on the menu and afterwards we found out we had to...pay for overpriced water and house wine.More
Not busy and we were well looked after by the waitress. We had seafood tapas, cod, grilled squid and an entrecote steak, all delicious especially the tapas and the cod. Would strongly recommend
I don't quite understand such enthusiastic reviews. The restaurant is old style with a shabby atmosphere, the sea bass was OK but really nothing special. Prices are quite high. Positive note : the waitress is really gentle. There are definitely better and more modern choice...(for the ambient and the kitchen) in the area.More
Hungry. Raining. Early evening. Most places not yet open but this was. So I stepped in and was met by loads of friendliness and decent food. The asset of this restaurant is the service. It’s splendid. Food is ok.
The service is good due to the waitress that are very kind, but food is in only ordinary. Apart from the bouillabaisse, the other fish dishes are disappointing.
delicious boullabaisse and creme brule owner made a mistake with bill but was quickly solved with humor
I booked a table for six for a dinner after a business meeting in Brussels. We were made to feel really welcome and enjoyed the atmosphere of this lovely restaurant from the moment we arrived. Everything we ate was excellent and although the reviews mention...the fish and squid, those of our party who chose meat were not disappointed. My friends had veal, which was a large portion on the bone which just melted in the mouth. Another colleague had the lamb shank, which just fell off the bone. Three of us chose the calamar (grilled squid) and it was superb! We also chose a Greek white wine to accompany the food, which was top quality. The desserts a couple of people had were home-made and good quality - a tirimasu and pannacotta - both memorable and well presented. All in all, we had a great time at this deceptively large restaurant that still retains a cosy, welcoming ambience. We will definitely come back.More
I can recommend Fish Stew! The best Fish Stew I've ever eaten. Meals are in good price range, portions are big enough. The restaurant looks OK but I missed quiet music in the background :) If I'm in Brussels again, I will visit this place...again!More
Nice restaurant. A little bit old fashion from outside but nice atmosphere inside. The service is very good. Food is excellent. Some space for groups (we were 9 people without reservation..)
Food is average, went with relatively high expectations based on many good reviews, but it was a bad idea.
Wonderful restaurant whit great view on the famous saint Catherine place, old fish market. Delicious fish. Amazing bouillabesse. Hight quality service.
