A standard food in Belgium. Frites and mayo. Lots and lots of sauce options here though and an area inside to eat them. When in Antwerp…….

Just chips, nothing amazing or to remember. The place was recommended on a blog post I'd read before going to Antwerp so we visited. They only take cash.
This well-known belgian fries shop used to serve world class fries. Sadly, my last fries were the biggest disappointment ever. Half the fries were dry crisps and the rest cardboard hard fries. The package smelled of fish, possibly because their oil needs changing. As a...person born and raised in Antwerp, I’m quite saddened by this and I hope nr.1 gets their act together and strives live up to their reputationMore
I have been enjoying fritten ( Belgian fries )!@ this place for the past 30 years . Now beside the fact that Belgian potato's are the best and the best to make fries , this place is open 24/7 and because so many visit the...food is always fresh . Beside perfect Belgian fries you also have the choice if these famous Belgian snacks . A place not to miss when in downtown AntwerpMore
If you are getting ready for a long hike or just getting back from an hike, this is a good place to treat yourself! The burgers, including the vega, are really nice ! Unfortunately the belgium beers were not in stock, that would have finished...it. Definitely recommend the place!More
Known for their excellent chips. Some say they are the best in town.. There is a small room o the side, where you can eat your "fritten".
Bad service due to high customer flow, cannot keep track of order and no apologies afterwards. Even kfc ones are better than these thin greasy fries. And yes still only accepting cash.
The quality of these fries is horrible, not the real belgian fries experience. go somewhere else if you want to experience that. They were unfriendly and only accept cash. Joints that only accept cash in Belgium mostly do so because they don't want to show...it to the taxofficials. the athmosphere of the spots where you can sit is horrible.More
How come you still cant pay by card at this place? it's 2020. This is kind of ridiculous, no? Also... there are vegetarian people in this day and age. Get with the program...
This is a good experience of Belgian fast-food and a popular place with locals. Frituur serves fries and other deep-fried Belgian specialities e.g. croquettes filled with cheese or seafood. You can get a small or large portion of fries with the classic toppings (Mayonnaise in...Belgian) and Ketchup. Have your fries on the go or take a seat in their coved seating area and enjoy. Bring cash, no cards accepted.More
Quality, serice and friendliness went down the drain after their previous success. Mostly visitors eat fries there (probably inly once) Used to be very good. Today the small fritshop Max (Groenplaats) is far better
Stopped for lunch at this takeaway establishment near the Grote Market in the City. It has a wide choice of takeaway food and drink ranging from fish, meat and chicken. The belgian fries were fabulous and the best we tasted on our trip. Most people...took their snacks with them, however there is a little room at the side with tables and seating if you wish to eat there. Worth noting, there is a notice by the counter informing you it is "cash only" for payment.More
Only cash. Who does that these days...? Not very kind people either. They know enough clients will keep coming so they don't care about customer service.
Been here with friends to try belgian fries. Can't remember how the traditional name is but fries with meat on top where amazing. Tried few different stuff at this place and everything was pretty tasty.
