This was my first taste of African food outside of Africa and it was a very enjoyable experience. The service was a bit keen and considering the menu is quite long he came back to us quite a few times not giving us that much time to decide even though we said we were no where near ready. The coke... More

The food here is really good and very different which is something I appreciate. As a vegetarian I was a little concerned at first there were only 3 options but as soon as I read the choices they all sounded amazing and I was struggling to choose. I eventually went with Nay Tzom 1 (Lentils, vegetable mix and spinach served... More

We came as a big group on a Tuesday which was no problem. The food came quickly and was very nice and tasty. The portions are big, and it is fun to eat with your hands. They also had nice drinks (banana beer, honey wine). The whole group was happy, and we couldn't even finish everything.

The restaurant looks pretty cute&cosy I think. I was just a bit surprised to find out their vegetarian selection was so small, because it supposed to be Ethiopian cuisine, which is very vegan friendly. The vegetarian option is basically one dish with two vegetable dishes, a salad and some potato. I was still a bit hungry after :> The flavors... More

I shared a meal/plate for two which included fish, beef, lamb etc. You had to eat the dishes with a special pancake, not with any cutlery, which was fun for a change. I'd definitely recommend that. The food was delicious! Not something I'd want every week, but very nice every once in a while.

Surprising little gem. The menu consisted mostly of dishes I'd never heard of. All the dishes we tried were really tasty and really well prepared. Staff were extremely friendly and service was first class. The dining area was a little dark, but the ambience was very good with a pleasant mix of African music playing gently in the background. Prices... More

We had dinner here with 6 persons and we all ordered the Eastern African dishes. A few of us were first timers eating African food so we all ordered different dishes to try out. The lamb stew (Kelwa) of my boyfriend was tough and somewhat tasteless, but my chicken dish was really nice and had a nice spiciness to it... More

You are in for a tasty treat if you havent tried the cuisine. Even if you have, the place keeps calling you back. Great meats, different veggies and serves in the traditional Ethiopian style make this restaurant unique. You had a great collection of African beers as well. Reservations arent always necessary but a good idea during busy times.
