As any self-respecting Indian foodie will profess, getting good quality Indian/Pakistani cuisine in the Netherlands is difficult. Not a slight against Holland, simply not necessary to the Dutch taste. Taj Mahal, nevertheless, bucks that trend in providing an outlet in Rotterdam for high quality Bengali food. Never did I anticipate being able to order a chicken tikka vindaloo anywhere outside... More

Diner with group of 6 at Taj Mahal in Rotterdam. The food was excellent, including chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, vegetables, samosa's, butter chicken, mango lassi, etc etc. Good variety of Indian food and good taste. Much better than other Indian places I tried in the Rotterdam area. Would return here easily!

Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, fresh ingredients. Service could have been more attentive but still very polite. Would go again!

The food was fantastic even when I had to order a takeAway due to time pressure. The amount of food could feed 2 people and they even gave me a complementary soft drink while I was waiting on my food

Food teribly bad, service arrogant employees . Only the name of dishes are Indian but taste no where close to the Indian taste. Either they make too sweet or too spicy when you ask for more spice. The guy there was so rude and behaved as if he was doing favour in servicing us. Never go to this restuarant

Till now I have visited 3 times, The Service is Really Pathetic-Least Sense of talking to Customers. The Staff is Incompetent, it takes hell lot of time to provide a Bread and when asked again to bring-The Clear Answer comes as its Finished; We know very well Indian Breads do not get finished those are required to be prepared. The... More

This was quite good Indian given that it s so difficult to find real authentic kitchen outside its own country. It tasted, looked and felt like a home cooked Indian food. The staff made us feel we were eating by friends. Our waiter was polite and knowledgeable. Simple restaurant atmosphere but very spacious. Casual dress. Not expensive and very good... More

I have had Indians all over the world where I can find them and I live between Sheffield and Southsea (UK) so I have had a fair few. This stands with them all and I would say its not a push to say its the best I have had. The bread is massive, there's so much rice (2 people can... More
