We had diner at Restaurant Dartel last week. It was really magnifique! Diner as well as wine were great! When visiting Leiden you absolutely have to visit this restaurant! Great food and service.

Dartel is a very good restaurant in the old city centre, next to the Pieters church. The chef and owner Norbert van Dartel uses molecular cuisine combined with classic cuisine from all over the world.

Dutch food keeps getting better and better. The beautiful presentations are matched by nearly flawless flavours and excellent wine pairings. The set menu with wine is worth the splurge and best enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
