Smallish restaurant, a touch crowded and noisy. Friendly, pleasant and responsive service. The food was served quickly and just hit the right spot. We'll be back.

The student rowing club of Middelburg came here for a dinner with a group of 25 people, and we all had a wonderful time. The food was lovely and the service was fairly swift considering the number of people we were with. The restaurant was also able to cater for a variety of dietary requirements within the group as well.... More
I've been here many times with friends, family and colleagues. The pizzas are absolutely great. If you love tiramisu, try their homemade version. Nice place to go, even on weekdays like Monday or Tuesday you will not be alone.
We chose the Piccola because it is next to a specialist beer bar. Service was fair and the food good value although perhaps too much parmesan already on the pasta when it came to the table, which drowned out the taste of the spaghetti carbonara. But the amtipasto del la casa was excellent for sharing
Despite the place looks nice and well located. The service level demonstrated was quite low...we asked for a table close to window, it was replied it was reserved. Now one showed up. We asked for a pizza without origan...it arrived with it in top. 40 mins waited to have it...defintely distant to any suffient grade.
Friendly restaurant in the heart of town. WIde choice of starters and mains, but desserts rather limited. Quality food, well cooked and presented. Was fully booked on the first night we tried to eat there (a Friday) but less busy on Sunday.
