Excellent value

A very small restaurant but very enjoyable visit. Food was very good - spring rolls and rice with honeyed pork. Friendly people. Care however - they don't accept all cards so worth having some cash.

As Good As Remembered

First visit back to Utrecht in several years. Dropped off the luggage and made a beeline for this place- walking a mile and a half in chilly snowy rain. Absolutely worth the effort! The rice paper spring rolls were ethereal. I may go back tomorrow...and order those in every version for lunch. It’s a wonder they didn’t float off the plate. Delicate and crunch and wrapping them in lettuce and mint leaves? Oh my! The beef satay banh mi was every bit as good as I remembered it. Sadly, they no longer serve bubble tea, which is a pity, because I’ve had tons and theirs was the best. Still tiny. Five tiny two-person tables inside. Lots of people getting takeout, even into the late evening.More

Really good food!!!!

Went here for lunch. We originally were going to bring the food back to our hotel, but there was room for us to sit. Ordered the Pho which came out really quickly! After that, we got the spring rolls! Food was VERY good! Service was...also very quick! Go here for lunch!!!More

Refused to give a glass of water

Refused to give a glass of tapwater after ordering several drinks per person and several dishes per person during a heat wave. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Utrecht and I always made a point of coming here every time I’ve visited the...town. I think it has been my last visit.More

All in all a total disappointment

My wife and I went to Kimmade Vietnamese Street Food in Utrecht today Saturday 23/07/2022 around 18:30 and ordered one Fried Spring Rolls, one Beef Satay with rice and two Banh Mi with honey pork. We tried everything and have never eaten worse Vietnamese food....Of the three Fried Spring Rolls, we only ate half of one. The coating was like rubber and the filling tasted like nothing. The pork in the Banh Mit was totally stringy and the roll totally dry. It was the same with the beef from the Beef Satay and the vegetables had a strange aftertaste. Except for the low price, we can't understand all the very good reviews at all. Total pity and for the restaurant we are also totally sorry, but the food was really not good.More

Amazing and super affordable food

Very good and affordable Vietnamese food. We got the food very quickly. Very nice staff. We ate the pho and the noodle salad. We would definitely recommend eating the fresh spring rolls.

Best place for takeout in Utrecht

The food at this place is extraordinary, you can taste the fresh ingredients. I have ordered more than 10 times now and it has never let me down. The prices are perfect for what you get. 100x more worth than a falafel or a durum.

Spring for the rolls.

We were lucky to get a place to eat at lunchtime, it certainly was very popular. We didn't find the food that great. The spring rolls were the highlight of the meal, they were very fresh with plenty of filling. The pho was a little...bland and there was bone (splinters rather than full bones) in one of the mains. Maybe we were unlucky.More

Incredible and Real Vietnamese

Pho is really amazing... real Vietnamese food. So tasty and nice. Flavours right on your face. Very small place... so be luck to get a Table!

Amazing vietnamese food

At first sight, it doesn't look like much, but the crowd of people outside says a hell of a lot! It is a small place, but the food will knock your socks off! It is so good, that I almost don't want to write a...nice review since I eat here a lot and prefer no waiting line.. It is the best place to eat vietnamese in Utrecht. Perfect place to lunch!More

Lovely light Pho

We went there for lunch, and had a lovely light meal. The Pho was well-flavoured, broth was clear, noodles were perfectly done, and the beef was done yet slightly rare in the middle. Loved it. Small disclaimer: They don't take reservations (at the time I...write this) and it can get really crowded, so there might be a wait. And it'll be worth it.More

Good value for money. Authentic tasting, low prices

Pretty good food for what they charge. It's always busy,but they usually serve/ prepare the food quite fast. Some of the dishes are a bit small (salad with crepe for example) and the sauce for the springrolls could be better (too sweet now) but overall...a place to go back to because they have a nice menu, it's cheap and ok/good food.More
