I am so glad that Jai Bharat has finally re-opened. The new location is great and food is as good as ever. It is still the best Indian restaurant in the Netherlands. It felt like I was returning home.
Unfortunately this restaurant is now closed :-( After years of pleasure and many lovely meals and friendly service the restaurant went out of business. I hope they will open on an other location. If so, I hope the owners will let us know via Tripadvisor

The taste of the food is just average, and for Indians out of India for sometime it fails o recreate the same nostalgia. Has sparks but overall can be much better.
We had two nights for dinner in Haarlem and after the first night here, we had our second dinner the next day as well at Jai Bharat. Very good food and very friendly staff. Also affordable and relaxed atmosphere. Recommended.
We were staying on the outskirts of Haarlem and decided to go into the centre for something to eat. This place was worth the trip! The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. Not too expensive either.

I actually like food scene in Haarlem than in Amsterdam. The food was so healthy not greasy and more than enough for two people. I am vegetarian so I usually suffer when I go abroad. For 17 euros the entire meal for two was superb
