This was the meeting place for the start of the Food tour we went on. A small brown cafe. Close to Anne Frank house and the Westerkerk. Had great pofferjes.

I only ordered one thing and they forgot to bring it! Lovely setting on the canal, but that's about it. Nice enough for a drink but don't bother I'd you want to eat.

Waited a long time for a simple ask of sandwiches and ravioli. Ravioli cost nearly 13 euros and was just three pieces. Salmon sandwich on pour quality bread but tasted fine. Very touristy area so maybe to be expected but still not impressive

We visited cafe de prins for some lunch and a drink. The drinks were good, but the food was awful. We ordered spring rolls which were undercooked and calamari which was over cooked.

Had a very nice freshly made pancake and omelet. The location is ideal for people watching, and doesn't feel at all touristy.

I had an early dinner here, around 1730 on a weekday. As expected, all of the sidewalk tables were occupied, but there was plenty of room at the bar and in the dining area. They will take reservations on their website and the menus are...More

We ate here as it featured on one of Anthony Bourdains TV shows & it was close to our hotel. It had a good atmosphere and it seemed like a lot of locals ate & drank here. There was a good choice of "comfort food"...More

This is a locals restaurant close to the Ann Frank house in the Jordaan district. It is unpretentious, very plain interior and not aesthetically very appealing; however, the food was excellent and staff warm and welcoming. Patrons appeared to be locals who were visiting, drinking...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
