It had been a while since we last visited this quaint restaurant on the Albert Cuypstraat in a former church in De Pijp. Food is still good, staff is friendly and prices are agreeable.

A local friend of ours took us to Bazar during a visit to the street market. We were surprised by the interior - a vast cavity which one does not expect. The dishes were delicious - we ordered 6 different main dishes and they were...More

The food is nothing short of terrible. The atmosphere and service is decent but that's it. It's too bad because it seems they have everything to make good but I'm guessing they are relying on the one time visits from tourists.

We came here because we were terribly hungry and this was the closest halal restaurant. We regretted it as soon as the food arrived. Extremely smelly stinky veal ribs that we returned after each of us taking one bite. Lamb Adana was almost just as...More

This place is tucked into the side of the Albert Cuyp market and is worth the trip. Food is very good and interesting. The decor is super fantastic, too. The portions were obscenely large -- like American diner size -- so think seriously about sharing...More

Food here was amazing and extreamely tasteful. I would highly recommend ordering the dish with three different meats (in the pictures with a stick). Also, remember to book a table in advance!
