Stay away. Food tasted bad... we did not touch the agadashi, yet the waiter did not care. Maki was prepared terribly... rice was thick and shapeless.

Stumbled across this Japanese restaurant and glad we did! We ordered the 4 course set menu which included miso soup and a sushi selection, chicken teriyaki with mayo and rice, teriyaki beef with rice and vegetables. Both were really really good! Really enjoyed the food here would recommend to anybody!!

We had to wait half an hour for our drink. Although the staff is very kind the service is very slow. The quality of the food was also very disappointing. We ordered a chicken dish which came with mayonaise. I hope that they will do something about their menu and service. I will never go back because everything what you... More

Craving some Japanese food we stepped into Kagetsu for lunch. There was only one table occupied, but the service was still very slow. I had one of the Teriyaki chicken bento box and my husband some Cali rolls. While the bento box was (only) OK, the rolls fell apart. Not too impressed with this place.

My daughter and I had dinner here tonight. The service was very slow, I had to ask 3 times for a bottle of water which finally came. I ordered the tuna with Miso- incredibly dry and over cooked, the sauce was thick and unappetising. The seaweed salad was so small, you could eat it in 2 mouthfuls. My daughter ordered... More

Whenever I am in the city centre, I like to eat warm. And the bento is so nice! With Japanese green tea. The service is good too.

I wish I could comment on the food but after 15 minutes waiting in a half empty restaurant (there was actually 3 table of 2 in there), we decided to leave. Something obviously disfunctionnal at this place. No drink orders or menu given in 15 minutes !!! A waiter came at the 10 minutes mark to tend to the table... More

Stumbled upon this cute little restaurant while searching for a spot for pancakes! The restaurant is cozy and reminds me of eateries in NYC's east village. The bento box was very good and reasonably priced. The green tea is authentic and delicious.

The sushi menu is limited but nicely prepared and tasty. The set menus are quite expensive so we did not try them. There were plenty of ala carte choices, and quite a few sakes.

The sushi at Kagetsu is really superb. Top quality fish, the all important rice, and beautiful to look at. It's a pity that the restaurant itself lack charm and atmosphere, but if you know your sushi and are looking for the real McCoy, look no further. Price was very competitive too.
