We ate here on a Sunday evening and it was about a third full so very little atmosphere, the food is tapa size portions that are to share , the mackerel was outstanding as was the mussels with razor clams , we had Spanish Alborinio wine to drink , at €49 a bottle we think way overpriced, we pay £40... A long narrow room with a bar like counter down half of one side and tables in booth like alcoves facing it - and then opening out into a slighter larger room. Food served tapas style, with a suggestion of multiple dishes to share. Interesting, tasty, modern dutch food. Good wine selection, charming helpful staff.

A very cozy restaurant along river side. I enjoyed nice lunch there with reasonable price. Fusion style food. Staff are very nice. We were in a bit hurry and they tried their best to accommodate our request.

Visited during a business trip for dinner. Excellent food, decent service, good wine list, value for money. Really quiet though. Had heard that you really need a reservation but we were alone on a Wednesday evening. And no music too. Good for business meetings but not for fun

Although not all perfect, we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. We had the Chefs choice so although the portions were quite small, it was a great way to try a combination of different dishes. It has definitely made us want to go back and try others in the future. The meat selection to start with was... More

We grabbed a seat at the long table set for 40 patrons. During our dinner, we felt and were treated just like someone living in Amsterdam. We had some prosciutto and bread with their truffle butter and the fois gras. Great nibbles with a glass of wine.

Envy had a nice vibe and buzz. Unfortunately, the service was terribly slow - perhaps too many customers and too few staff? - and the food, when it arrived was small. It was beautifully presented and the flavors were good, but there were only a few tiny bites. Which made the food expensive for what it was.

Was so looking forward to this restaurant on our last night in Amsterdam and really wish I could say that we loved it but can't! First of all the staff were just a bit full of themselves and although quite glamorous it takes more than that to impress the customer. Nothing was properly explained to us and one of us... More

Nice place, good choice of wine and very tasty food in the heart of the city. I have also appreciated the service. All in all, an excellent choice!

Description
Fifteen restaurant in Amsterdam is an exciting offshoot of Jamie Oliver’s famous Fifteen London, a great example of one set of dynamic, generous people inspiring others to act. In this case, the ‘others’ are Sarriel Taus and Coen Alewijnse who have created this combination restaurant and chef’s school in partnership with Fifteen London to benefit the struggling young people of Amsterdam. So what’s it like at the dining end of the equation? Very cool. The arty cosmopolitan style includes vibrant graffiti-scrawled sheet metal walls contrasting nice with the smart, sleek modern lines, designer seating and white table cloths. The restaurant seats up to 200, yet can still feel right for an dinner a deux. Each night a tasting menu is on offer, inspired by Jamie Oliver incorporating only the freshest regional produce. The modern Italian menu changes weekly and includes one of Jamie’s favourite antipasti to start, a first dish of fresh pasta, gnocchi or risotto, second course of meat, fish, poultry or game, and, we’re quoting here, ‘a wicked dessert’. A wine tasting menu is available to match the food tasting menu, or choose your own from the excellent list.
