We found this place on a wet Saturday night as we were walking past. Although it was fully booked, we managed to get a table and enjoyed one of the best Mezes we had ever eaten. A range of 15 superb dishes and Lebanese beers on the side. Great atmosphere and service and worth seeking out away from the tourist... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat in the tourist trap area off the Leidesplein and not feeling very inspired. We always like Lebanese food so a quick look on google and a few minutes walk took us to the Beyrouth restaurant. It doesn't look much from outside but there was quite a few people in there so we went... More

The facilities certainly could be improved, but the food has, with no doubt, the singular homemade Lebanese flavor. We ordered Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Falafel, Labhne and Tabbouleh that were really very good. Fresh and tasty. Arak as a drink and we had our perfect Lebanese dinner. Highly recommend if you are a true Lebanese cuisine fond.

The Mezze menu for two persons was below any expectation. Flatbread was cold and dry and the Mezze portions meant for two were just enough for one person. The taste and variety were not good. Too many cold salads and some warm little snacks with meat. I'm very sorry for the people they were friendly but the food is poor.

Since my partner wanted to have some mezze for a change, we deliberately took a tram from the museum area where our hotel located to Beyrouth recommended by the tripadvisor. Both owner and waiter were very kind an polite. They were very welcome and let us choose where we would like to sit, either the table on the ground floor... More

Tried this as it was near our accommodation and it was a really good choice. After the owner talked us through the meze my partner and I shared a 10 item meze which was plenty for two with lots of vegetarian dishes (many were vegan in fact) and totally delicious. Our son had lamb chops and enjoyed his meal too.

If you want good Lebanese food in Amsterdam this is the place I would recommend. If you are looking for a place with a chique or hip ambiance I would go someplace else.

Here in Amsterdam I was looking for Lebanese food and searching in my iPhone I came across this almost hidden restaurant very close to the Centrum. Food was not only delicious (we had the 10 piece maza, combo plate) but also very affordable and with outstanding hosts that were always extremely kind (I came with a double stroller and my... More

We had the 10 plate menu, and walked away full and happy with the experience - friendly staff and good quality lebanese food.

Another one of the restaurants, that I have been frequenting for ages (more than 10 years). Enjoyed and delighted the firs time, and still enjoying my meals in Beyrouth. Not only do I take out of town friends, but also friends from the country, as it offers the exotic dishes of Lebanon, which was introduced to me by my English-Lebanese... More
