I absolutely loved this casual Restaurant. I walked here from Herengracht in the morning for great coffee and an omelet. I also ate lunch here a couple of times. Loved the Food and Service. I could sit outside every time I was there.

Great fresh food, reasonably priced and really delicious. The juices and coffee were really good. The goat cheese tartine was so yummy. I went back the next day for another. Added the small tarts for a perfect desert.

I know that this cafe is a popular chain and I have used it in two different locations, Spuistraat Amsterdam and Stadsplein Amstelveen. Both didn't have a wonderful service. Wanted to grab quickly a croissant and a cappuccino in the morning and went into an...More

Great place for breakfast. Open earlier [8:00] than most of the other little breakfast places in the areas. Offers many organic choices, all with very fresh ingredients. If you are still a little sleepy when you arrive, you may not fully appreciate the artistic presentation...More

Our previous breakfast place was closed due to “a function this morning”. Shame, but a good excuse to discover something new. Le Pain Quotidien was just around the corner: Let’s try that. The formula of Le Pain Quotidien is well known and ensures a certain...More

I came here with family the other day for an afternoon snack. We got there at around 5pm, and as it usually is with European places, they were out of most of the items on their menu. Nonetheless we stayed, and ordered some Chocolate Croissants...More

We went for a late lunch after recommendation from our hotel. It did not disappoint. The Cafe was in such a lovely area, quiet and not so touristy. We found the price quite reasonable and the meal portion to be perfect. I ordered the lamb...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

Our bread is made today exactly as it was in the beginning: with only organic stone-ground flour, salt, and water, kneaded and shaped by hand and baked in a hearth under the watchful eye of artisan bakers. We insist on the freshest and finest ingredients. If we can't find them, we make them ourselves. Our shelves are lined with the products we've created: the jams and chocolate spreads on the communal table, the granola in your parfait, the coffee that fills your bowl.
