What a cute and tiny place. A hidden gem with a lovely lady at the counter. I must have made aan unlucky menuchoice... I had a clubsandwich. But is was a bit sour (and fatty bacon). IT was plain bread which can work but not with this one (big chuncks on flat Bread). And unfortunately the coffee was not really... More

Remodeled and new name. Same great food. Fresh and healthy. Just what this California traveler wanted for lunch. Relaxing, clean, friendly.

BobT you are a bit biased. We went to Cafezinho and it is not that small, it is actually ... gezellig. Intimate and warm. The food was great, the coffee was amazing and the service was excellent. English was not a problem, I don't know how you got that idea. I suggest the next time you go, you be a... More

A very small place that can fit the maximum 10 people and if it's busy you can't communicate with your friend because of the noise. The quality of the food was awful. I tried to find some of my favorite Brazilian dishes on the menu but in vain... there were nothing and the funniest, the owner couldn't speak neither English... More

We came to this place specifically for the acai berry bowls which are like a cold smoothie soup with granola and bananas, they were delicious! However looking around, all the food looked amazing. Great portions and run by a single man. It's down a quieter alley, and came after we visited the Anne frank haus. Would definitely recommend!

The only think it was brazilian was the name and maybe the coffee that I didnt try... Ah they serve Açai as well (cant say if is good or not)... I had a baguette with was adverted as "home made hommous" (the only vegan option) and it was the worst I've ever had.. No flavour at all... The guy who... More

Located in the heart of the trendy Joordan district, Cafezinho is a find for people passionate about healthy food and lifestyle. It has a variety of warm and cold sandwiches with an option to choose spelt breads, granola and tropical fruit juices with different superfood supplements. Their acai bowl topped with banana and müsli is a must!

Cafezinho is a small lunch room in the Jordaan area in Amsterdam. We offer delicacy Brazilian coffee, hot Belgian chocolate (choice of dark, milk and white chocolate beans to mix with hot milk - also soya milk) and healthy tropical fruit juices. Only here can you find home-made recipes with grilled halloumi cheese (Cypriot speciality cheese with a unique taste!). We also serve other Mediterranean flavours as well as the typical Dutch grilled ham sandwich. Acai in a bowl and gluten-free pao de queijo are also available for Brazilian speciality lovers. Soups with vegetables vary according to seison. Our home-made warm chocolate cake with Belgian chocolate and fresh lemon sauce has become the talk of the city! Come to visit us and taste some of our delicacies.

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
