We stopped in for lunch after not being able to find anything else open. The food was delicious and the serving sizes were perfect for lunch. I definitely recommend!

On the recommendation of a local, we headed to Boca's. We arrived to a very busy venue, but were quickly seated. The staff were attentive and most helpful in assisting with menu selection. We were highly impressed by the platters. They were generous and delicious. The wine list offered great pairings. A great evening!

Simple: you're hungry? Don't get a burger at Boca's. It's not like it didn't taste good, but for €5.50 it was ridiculously small.

We stumbled across this place on our way to the Anne Frank House, fantastic menu of sandwiches and soups, each ranging from 2 to 5 Euros so you get a selection, brilliant in its simplicity and the food was gorgeous, brilliant host and atmosphere bring it all together! Definitely recommend for a relaxing lunch!

We needed a quick feed...tables were booked as it was valentines, but we were early evening so they squeezed us in before the busier evening started. It was decorated beautifully for valentines. The food was spot on, they catered for a few special requests for our children too. Service was efficient and friendly. Very good value for money. Couldn't fault... More

Stopped in for a late lunch. So glad we did. Had a bunch of mini sandwiches tapas style. We were offered a menu in English which was very helpful. Small place and busy. The service was good, not great but sufficient. Food was terrific!

We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a place that was open on Sunday. The food is served like Tapas only it's not really Spanish food, just options served on small buns. You could get meatballs or goat cheese or pate . . . It might have cost more to eat small portions like this rather than getting a... More

This is our second visit at Boca's. This time wasn't different than our first visit. Great food, accurate, trendy and so good combined with great beer good music and friendly service. This small place located in Jordaan, simply the best neighborhood in Amsterdam. We will definitely make it a third time.

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
