A late review as I'm catching up on places I visited in the summer. My friend and I came across this place when we were wandering and pretty much got lost in the Jordaan area! Very small coffee shop but we sat outside as it was so sunny that day. We only had coffee which was good and the price... More

coffee was not good... there are several options near by. to get into WC you must be very tiny... and use nose clips... but the worst was the service... very unfriendly. guys you had a bad day!

We stumbled across this by chance on a canal walk. The shop itself was small, cosy and very welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the coffee was great too! This fast become our first stop on a day out.

If you have the privilege of a sunny day go straight to here and sit and enjoy the sun. The coffee is OK.

Never go back somewhere where I spend a lot and am refused tap water. Also had a hair in my muffin. Poor staff. Lots of cafes nearby - try somewhere else

We popped in here to rest our weary feet after walking all morning. Excellent coffee and a slightly different apple pie with a biscuit base and lovely toasted nuts and icing sugar on top! Would definitely recommend!

We had our breakfast at this cute little restaurant. It was small but cozy, not too low budget but fair for the size of meals. We had a panini, apple tart and seriously the best Latte Macchiato ever! Plus: the barmaids a very polite!

We got lost yesterday while trying to find beautiful Brouwergracht! When we did find it we were a bit weary. Found Tazzinas and had hot chocolates. I had hazelnuts in mine! We both agreed they were the best hot chocolates we had ever had!

Would have been glad if there were more options of cakes and pastry. Very nice girls woking there though! ;)

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
