This place is quickly becoming a firm favourite. We have been twice recently, both times with friends, and each time we have been completely blown away by the quality of the food and the amazing service. This is a real hidden gem and I would...More

We had a warm welcome when we arrived, we chose a delicious red wine and ordered a few different tapas. We sat outside enjoying the peaceful surroundings waiting for our tapas and when it arrived we enjoyed every last morsel! Delish!!

The place to be if you enjoy tapas. The Spanish chef has an eye for detail and delivers good food time and time again. Not the cheapest of places, but not over-expensive either. The staff are great too, they really make an effort. Well worth...More

We had the 5 surprise tapas meal. Spanish ham coating melted cheese, prawns with onion and tomato, cod with peppers, steak with mustard sauce, and chicken with green onion (sweeter flavour). The servers were friendly and helpful.

We stayed nearby at the fabulous Waldorf Astoria and were recommended here by the Concierge when we asked for Tapas. When a National Cuisine is transported outside it's native country it is necessarily interpreted. Sometimes it becomes something new like Chinese food in the USA....More

Horrible. The worst restaurant in a 5 day stay in Amsterdam. The employees are not friendly or attentive and the food is not good. A waste of time and money. Not recommend

Description
Tia Rosa is a restaurant located at Reguliersgracht, one of the most beautiful canals of Amsterdam. A place where the free atmosphere of Amsterdam is combined with Spanish charm. Here you are very welcome to get acquainted with the typical Spanish cuisine, a wide range of tapas, and an exquisite selection of wines. Tia Rosa has an authentic Spanish ambience, complete with a beautiful wooden bar, Spanish mosaic, wine barrels, and an open kitchen. You can order several different tapas and enjoy them standing at the bar while drinking a good glass of beer or wine. If you would rather enjoy a full diner experience, then we welcome you into our cosy restaurant or on our lovely little terrace. Tia Rosa is housed in what used to be two identical warehouses called 'De Zon en De Maan', the Sun and Moon, two beautiful now fully restored buildings from the 17th century. That way Tia Rosa is a small piece of Spain located in the middle of the famous Amsterdam canals.
