This place was good for a bite to eat and was much better priced than some of the surrounding cafes and restaurants. Worth a try.

I ordered a hamburger and they brought the hamburger with different ingredients. No potatoes in each hamburger and it cost like 12€. Not worth

We were passing by on our way to another restaurant and we saw this one. Since we were starving we decided to go in and it was definitely a good decision. Service was excellent, Daria (the waitress) is really nice and polite. Food was very good, a little expensive but I've heard is the average price in Amsterdam for this... More

We stopped here at the end of a busy day as it is very near the hotel where we were staying. My husband and I ordered a hamburger and fries. They were delicious! The only negative was that the service was rather slow, but as we were tired and happy to be seated, that didn't bother us.

This is a sidewalk cafe attached to the Renaissance Hotel. It took my server some time to get herself organized and i had the feeling that she was either new or just not well trained. People came and went and more than one table had a problem that they didn't get what they ordered. When my order arrived, I had... More

Because we had Herrings and Bitterballs and of course draft Heineken. Very good service, central but quieter location in Kattengat. Mains €12 to €25.

We had dinner at Koepelcafe and enjoyed traditional Dutch food complete with authentic Dutch Apple Pie. That alone puts this cafe at the top of my list.

This restaurant is at the Renaissance Hotel. The outdoor seating was covered so even though it was raining we were able to enjoy eating outside. We had a light dinner. It was a little understaffed with only one waiter that we saw. It seemed to be a popular place to stop for a drink or a bite.

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
