It's called Cafe Cuba but they don't play Cuban music, it's all R&B. Inside it's rustic, dirty and needs a proper clean. Cocktails are all ice and very little alcohol or mixer. Ordered a Lychee Love cocktail (see pic) that turned out to be all ice and part of the ingredients supposed to give it flavour was just a splash.... More

Love to sit on their terrace on a nice summer day with a scroppino or a beer and some nachos and just watch people pass by. In the evening I find it gets too crowded.

We had an incredibly enjoyable few hours one evening here recently as this cafe has outside seating and catches all of the evening sun. Extremely popular too. We sampled some of the local beers as we watched the world go by. Highly recommended.

Great place.feel like your in havana.bar looks old and poor almost dirty and cheap so from time to time you got a feeling that you have travel with a time machine in the past or in present in fidels cuba.nice colleczion on cocktail.

Confortable seats and nice enviroment. The waiters not very pleasant, one of them was at the bar drinking a coctel. they have a pool table but the sticks and the play flield were in horrible consition. Not bad to drink some gintonic.

We spent hours here people watching with friends. We got good seats under the heaters but after that it got very busy. Reasonable table service and a good choice of drinks including cocktails. Not expensive and a great spot to sit and watch the world go by.

Lovely cocktails, reasonable prices and great cosy little relaxed atmosphere. I could easily have stayed in here all afternoon.

Nice and cozy place but some of the staff is very rude. If you close your eyes for several minutes. They can warn you by saying "Cuba cafe is a cafe, not hotel!!" It doesn't matter how offen you order. You can find much more beautiful places.

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
