This little place has one of the best locations. They have a little terrace just by the canal. The staff is very friendly and well trained, although the place is very busy making it difficult for the staff to keep up the great work, making...More

Visited this pub again after at least a decade and nothing had changed. Cosy quaint place where atmosphere has probably never changed throughout its history even if it is now mainly frequented by tourists. Lovely place to escape to in picturesque area of the Jordaan...More

Go here with friends. Sit down in the cozy dimly lit space. Order a drink and enjoy. Great atmosphere. Great interior. Feels like and old part of a library!! Lots of locals drinking and chilling out

Small, unchanged, quiet, cozy and fabulous. Just go and have a drink. Preferably as we did on a cold December night after a fabulous meal round the corner for a coffee and a brandy and some gazing at your husband and remembering why you married...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

We were travelling Canadians eating at this restaurant. You would need to contact them to ask if they are open.

I would definitely go direct to the restaurant. Many places have set their small evening menus by early afternoon and you can call and set time --or stop in on an afternoon stroll to set a time later that evening.
