This is a good and cheap Mexican restaurant very close to Dam square. Some dishes are not the best (Guacamole) but Fajitas are very good.

Very good food...However the host was not up to the mark. Took a while before the drinks found our table and the waiter was pretty much clueless about the delay. Not a traditional Mexican place but worth a try in the damstraat area.

Came here March/April 2017 and have to say, missing it already! Loved the nachos, and the fajitas were well cooked and well presented. The staff were lovely and very considerate, ensuring everything was to our taste. My favourite place in Dam so far :-)

Went here for a late lunch on our way to the airport and really enjoyed. The burrito was fantastic and the service was very good!

Visited on two occasions and was extremely well looked after on both visits. On the first visit I had the steak and rice special and it was superb value for money, my son in law had the enchiladas which were equally good , we visited again the following day and I had a 300g steak and chips which was excellent,... Burnt poor quality good and rude staff. They over charged us. We asked for lunch special and they charged full price. When I challenged they were very rude and aggressive. Do not eat here food and service awful. And they purposely overcharge you. After pushing them for 5 minuted they amended the bill. But only one of the items not... More

Advised that lunch choice was first few items on menu. Food tasty, but portions small. Not sure if lunch means less, but although good value for lunch price, would be disappointing at evening price unless larger portion. House wine mediocre and white not chilled enough.

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
