An unusual Chinese Restaurant. Great Food. Reasonable prices. Service is a bit strange. At first, the hostess/waitress seemed a bit surly. In retrospect, perhaps it was a language barrier. So, don't direct spritely conversation - just good food. Very extensive menu. Credit cards not accepted.

We ran across Chinatown as we walked about Amsterdam and the Red Light District. Chinatown was small ... I loved the deversity of this town ... where else can you see tons on pot shops and hockers, a Buddhist temple and monks and chinatown all...More

I visited this restaurant twice in a very short duration and both of the times, the experience was radically different, like 2 sides of a coin. The first visit was with friends and family(group of 4). Although a bit crowded, but we were able to...More

Got to this place after a recommendation. It's easy to spot: it's the only restaurant with ducks hanging in the window like in Asia often practiced. Service was kinda friendly and effective. Place should be cleaned more often. There was a spider falling on my...More

Huge number of dishes but not every of them is delicious. Enormous portions with cheap prices. It's a bar though, so don't expect golden forks

Given the area on the edge of Amsterdam ChinaTown this is a solid meal. There are many tourist and toilet trap chinese restaurant in the area that are not as good, but this place is a safe bet for a quick good value meal. It...More

Very small and quite gloomy place, the menu offers a huge range of authentic cantonese dishes which are mostly with meat. There are no vegetarian noodle soups or wantan available, such a pity. Prices are not that cheap, if you're a vegetarian better go to...More

A friend recommended this place and it was not a disappointment. The duck and cha siu were in large portion as compared to its price and they were quite good. The oysters came in two different flavours - both big and tasteful. I would have...More

Our guide recommended this place for dinner and the food was great! Large portions and very high quality fresh food. The service is very fast and rushed. If you want a leisurely relaxing dinner I would choose somewhere else. However it was some of the...More

Good simple, uncomplicated Chinese food. Had the BBQ pork and soya chicken with rice and noodles. Chicken is served on the bone, as it should be. The portions are huge so it would be easy to over order. Reasonably priced for Amsterdam. Food is tasty...More

Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the
Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its
saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to

historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist
