Very nice place, authentic with a very nice food. I have been there couple of time, probably the most friendly staff in Amsterdam and one of the best burger. Nice location I hardly recommend this place!

Running from the rain on a cloudy November day I stumbled across this cafe. Couples doing the crossword and a single friendly staff member, combined with the characteristic decor, makes you feel like one of the locals. Good coffee and food are to be expected here

We stumbled upon this small cafe upon our arrival in Amsterdam right along a canal. Just a short walk from the Renaissance Hotel. Had a very nice breakfast. One of us had the "small breakfast" with a pastry and another had the larger breakfast with an egg and pastry. Very nice atmosphere and good service.

We went in here for breakfast and a coffee. There isn't a great deal of choice but we went for two fried eggs and bacon on bread, what could go wrong? Well it was really awful, the bacon was a pile of uncooked fat, I could barely find any meat and therefore it was inedible. The eggs were overcooked too.... More

So, our tourist guide said that this little place had the best apple pie in the city. I didn't have any because I'm a vegan but my mother was deeply impressed and urged me to give this place a good review - so here you go people, if you want 'the best apple pie in Amsterdam', come here and get... After a lovely walk through waking up Amsterdam on this beautiful last sunny Sunday morning in September we found Villa Zeezicht and even were lucky enough to find a place on their small terrace just outside the bar. The service was pleasant and friendly, the breakfast was excellent and cheap. Coffee/tea with croissant, butter and jam, how simple but so... More

We had lunch, sitting outside. The service was spot on. We both enjoyed our entree. I had the shrimp which is actually an appetizer with garlic bread. Great combo. My colleague had the Crayfish pasta dish. She was raving about it. This is also a great people watching location.
