This restaurant has the usual PQ food, which is always high quality, and of course fine bread. There is ample seating inside and out. We stayed at the Okura nearby, so it is a good alternative to expensive hotel breakfasts. If I had any issue...More

it pains me to write this as I love the organic, vegetarian menu and your delicious cakes, but when we ordered a falafel bowl (for 14 euros!) the bowl was tiny with 3 measly falafels covered with some lettuce. The humus tartine wasn't very appetising...More

Amsterdam has an amazing selection of breakfast options - Le Pain is OK but there are so many more options that are much better — and not as pricey

Dear PQT, Please, the tartines are way too sober! Where is the flavouring? Some mustard, maybe sliced tomato?? You charge around 8 euro for an ordinary Dutch 'boterham' without a soul! That really is unacceptable! A 'tartine' is a FANCY open sandwich, an open half...More

Amsterdam, and indeed the Netherlands, is not noted for its service however Le Pain takes the biscuit (pun intended). Sat outside in the sun on a Tuesday morning with few customers and 15 mins after sitting down, I finally got a menu. I decided to...More

Breakfast at the hotel was very expensive so we opted for coffee and pastries. This is a great place.

I have been to a Le Pain Quotidien in London before and I extremely enjoyed the breakfasts there. So I told my family that we should check this one out as well and it did not disappoint. The quality of the breakfast was extremely high...More

Breakfast is great! The french toast as well as the coffee and the oatmeal was very delicious. It is a little bit expensive but worth it! The service was super friendly as well!

Le Pain Quotidien has a decent menu, offering a good breakfast, but rather expensive. Staff was friendly, service was not that fast related to the many visitors. They offer some nice 'detox' juices.

Description
Our store was the first Le Pain Quotidien in the Netherlands and is the first store where we could give the Dutchies the Le Pain Quotidien-experience. The store is within walking distance of the famous Albert Cuyp market and congress center the RAI. The shop has a lovely big terrace at the Cornelis Troostplein and is a great place to enjoy our artisan baked organic bread. The characteristic conservatory provides an enjoyable light in the store. A great meeting place for tourist and locals.
