Really cosy, reasonably priced, chilled out place to spend a few hours in Amsterdam. The woman running the bar was lovely.

This is a nice restaurant situated next to the Prinsengracht and is just north of the Anne Frank house. It's a good place for snacks, meals or drinks.

It was a great place to have a break from a cold day walking. We only had a coffee, but would come back for snacks and beer 😀

Famished after an early flight and long ride from airport. Once settled in out rental we dropped by this place to fuel us on our first day. I've got to say our meal put us at a good start. Must try is their burger. Juicy and tasty! Paired it with a radler and it was a match. The place was... More

Called in after passing by and seeing the notice for Sunday Jazz. Delightful cosy ambience, and excellent jazz trio playing when we were there. Just had snacks so can't comment on the food but based on our initial experience we'll return and try the menu. Table service for drinks is a nice touch and the service was good. Prices average... We Stopped in here for a pint as the cosy atmosphere and live jazz caught our eye. Absolute pleasure! The waitress was so friendly and the musicians playing in the corner were brilliant. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely stop by again before we leave.

A really nice dinner at Café De Vergulde Gaper, Prinsenstraact 30. Organic beef burger with cheese, bacon, jalapeno, nachos and chili mayo. Delicious frites. Apple tart with ice cream and whip cream. Definitely the best burger and fries we’ve ever had. Excellent, friendly service. Enjoyed sitting outdoors by the canal. Highly recommend.

The cafe is located in the central touristic area of Amsterdam with typical outdoor sitting- a few small tables facing the street and some more next to the canal (they offer blankets for the chilly days). Besides drinks they serve traditional Dutch meals- not very big potions, but delicious. Being in the central area, the prices are a bit high... More

It took forever to get served, perhaps because we were seated out of view of the bar (?) but when the food did come it was very good.

Thank Codiak!
