Last day in Amsterdam and last meal in this fabulous city was great thanks to this beautiful and welcoming pub/bar ! The bread was the tastiest i have found in Amsterdam and the mixing of the ingredients was perfect. I and my girlfriend had to wait a little too much for the order, but was worth it for that kind... This is a typically Amsterdam cafe in the famous district Jordaan. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere for a drink or a simple meal for reasonable prices. Do not expect luxurious seats but the cosines is far more important here. Toilets are upstairs so not convenient for disabled people.

the owners of this place did everything to make us feel welcome. a lovely little cosy bar restaruant. the owners went out of their way and said we will keep bringing you food until you are full. soups, freshly baked breads, cheeses, ham, lovely home-made croquettes. that to the owners and Plan A events for arranging the lovely lunch.

Monday morning market nearby. Great for a Sat/Mon pre-market egg breakfast. Decent coffe and very reasonably priced. Great seated terrace at the front. One of my favorite parts of town. Nice personnel. Favourite hangout for students on Friday eve and when a big FB game is showing. Huge on Kings Day!

Experience with service was extraordinarily bad, as waitress spilled beer all over table and me, and then disappeared! And the meat in my friend's dish had obviously gone bad. Our complaints were followed by aggressive bullying on the part of the owner and, after prolonged negotiating, a 1/3 discount on the price.

This bar canceled on our reservation with zero notice. We had a group coming from out of country (9 hour drive, a couple plane flights) and they canceled with zero notice. Do not go here.

We stopped in there as part of our ride on the beer bike. Really enjoyed our time there! We weren't the usual bike crew as it was our family and some students from Swizterland we picked up along the way. The owner was very friendly, food good, and great prices. A gem of a neighborhood type bar. He introduced me... More

Are you going Tuesday with? That would be so nice ... A nice walk through our Jordan with a good guide. Of course including a fresh apple pie with whipped cream and a cup of tea or coffee on arrival. DELICIOUS! First you walk through the northern Jordan and when you are full of fun facts that told the guide takes you back along the Blue Pan. A delicious buffet lunch (delicious! Sandwiches, salads ...) Is here waiting for you, with different fruit juices and milk.

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
