Great authentic Chinese restaurant, very good specialized in overall Chinese food, chef is from Sichuan so they do great food from there as well. Ask for the Chinese menue's if you like to try something else. They have a great 2 person menu with seafood and duck for about 30 euro a person. Good hotpot and northern Chinese food as... More

We opted for Lee Ka Chu purely based on its proximity to the central Leidseplein area. We went in during a quiet period (it was about 8pm) with just a couple of large Chinese family groups eating when we arrived. The food was delicious and in generous portions – so, good value for what it was – but the service... More

Rice is amazingly well-cooked, food is perfect. There is a real Chinese atmosphere, with traditional dishes.

The place to eat in the Leidseplein area. there are no good restaurants close to the Leidseplein, mostly touristy and pricey. But taste of Culture is full of Chinese people eating Chinese food!!! I think I told you enough.

We went to this hotel based on a recommendation in the lonely planet guidebook. It's located on a street filled with restaurants just off Leidseplein. Menu is extensive and has all the usual Chinese offerings and more! We were delighted to see that the restaurant was filled with Chinese people when we arrived- always a sign of a great Chinese... A small restaurant just a min walk from Leidseplein square in Amsterdam! If you are a group of more than 6 people it is better to book a circle table. The service was okay since it was friday and it was crowded however the food was delicious! We had more than 6 dishes! In the end we had a traditional... More

This restaurant is just very near the Leidseplein. Very often after a night out in the weekends, instead of fast food, we go here. It's open until 03.00 in the weekends (but check google first). Love the deep fried salty chicken, the Chinese veggies and the tender beef.

Was recommended to my son and we went for a quick dinner. Full of Chinese patrons - always a good sign. Food was far better than average Chinese restaurants, decor plain, service good, mid price.
