It gets its name from the saj, a traditional dome-shaped griddle used in Lebanon to bake manoushe, an everyday Lebanese food. Alongside the manoushe, we now also serve a variety of homemade soups, specials of the week and desserts, all of which are infused with the Lebanese spirit (and flavour!) Vegan , vegetarian, meat and gluten free options available !
Must try: manoushe with labneh, aubergine, zafaar or hummus. Fatoush salad is tangy and delicious. Red lentil soup is flavourful too!
You can buy their zataar, pickles, chilli paste and tahini to carty the great flavours home!
This restaurant caught my eye because I am...crazy about lebanese food and was looking for some good vegetarian options. I was split between trying this place out vs. all the other great choice of cuisines that Amsterdam has to offer.
I am so glad I went here on my last day. Simple menu, quick service, amazing food! The bread is made fresh right in front of you - doesn't get much better than that, right!More

awesome review, it really got everything!
Thank you very much for it and for visiting us, of course! Glad you could make it!
We were walking in the street and immediately smelled something delicious. We followed the smell and found ‘The Lebanese Sajeria’. We ordered and within 5 minutes we were called that it was done. We brought it home to eat. A treat for your tastebuds!! We...ordered two flatbread wraps, one with beef and one with chicken. Both extremely delicious and a true taste explosion. Highly recommend this place!More

Hi RC Campbell,
extraordinary and very concise review!
Thank you very much for it, as well as for your visit and your recommendation!
This type of place is what the world needs more of! A quite small and moderate selection of delicious lebanese dishes that are very affordable! We loved it and would visit it again in our next visit to amsterdam!
