We found this listed in the Spartacus guide and as we wanted to go out in the bars in the area I booked a table. I'll be brutal, if you don't like garlic then probably you may want to go elsewhere, however I like garlic and my partner is indifferent...but he lived it. The food was amazing, garlic beer worth... If you like garlic and would love to try dishes with a twist this is the place. Friendly staff, good food, a nice venue and not to crowded which makes it a more personal experience.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and it was completely empty! We took a chance because we happen to be fans of garlic--and it did not disappoint. We started with the garlic baker (a MUST!) and had the Pasta Agio e Olio and Gamba's (Shrimp). Everything was amazing! I couldn't believe we had the place to ourselves because it was that... More

For delicious food and an completely different atmosphere form anywhere else we could find in Amsterdam I think you would be lucky that beat the Garlic Queen. Located on Amsterdam's main gay street is is so different from the rest do the town. The restaurant is white all over, bright lights and no hiding in the shadows. The chef is... More

It wa s a very nice and different evening with all the dishes that has garlic in it. If you are a true garlic lover, it's like a heaven! Service was very good and almost all the the foos was delicious. Garlic icecream is not my favorite, though. And garlic beer is a definite must-try.

Small quiet restaurant but elegant, in a airy modern way, with many regal decor touches. Predominant art choice is Dutch Queens past and present, and the dominant food theme is Garlic! Hence the name? Very comfortable in any case. I understand that it has been recently re-done and I would say well. The food is garlic based to be sure,... More

This is a lovely cosy little restaurant that serves fantastic food. We have been many times and always had a fabulous meal. Whist ice cream with garlic may sound strange it is absolutely delicious! Really recommend the tuna steak!

We wandered in for lunch and sat outside in the sun on this pedestrian precinct. Good location, good service. The food is all based around alive of garlic. We started with Garlic bake - a whole slow cooked garlic which you spread in cloves on the excellent whole meal bread...with olive oil...beautiful. We followed with salmon gravlax (no garlic?) and...
