We had a really good time - the food was excellent, we had a dorade and octopus. The service was very nice and helpful (needed because the restaurant is an unusual setup)

My husband, children (ages 10 and 13), and I just went to Pesca over Christmas break and we had so much fun! When we arrived, we were greeted with a drink (prosecco, beer, etc.) so of course they already had me with that gesture ;-)...More

Found this via tripadvisor and not disappointed. Soft shell crab is tremendous. Not the cheapest meal you’ll have in Amsterdam but certainly worth it.

The food was good. Unfortunately we were expected to finish our four course meal within 40 minutes. We advised the management. Their input is that they are learning. Learning at these prices is hard to accept. May be best to wait another year to see...More

Dear Joop, Thank you for your review. We higley appreciate that. We have been in contact via e-mail multiple times, therefore we find it a bit harsh that you write these words here. You loved the staff, you loved the food; and still these phrases....More

From a to z a fantastic concept. Upon arrival you will receive a very hospitable welcome, just pick the fishmonger, a good wine with the fish and thereafter they prepare your choice in a very tasty way. The interior is top-notch and the service without...More

I took my son, niece, and her friend here for dinner Christmas eve. It was a splurge, but well worth it. The food was excellent (something for every different taste bud and diet) but most important was the fun we had in choosing our dinner,...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

Theatre of fish! The opening of a unique fish concept with great fish of exceptional quality in a theatrical experience. It's a warm, cosy and trendy atmosphere where guests participate in the concept of creating their own meal and picking it up only minutes later at the open kitchen. Guests are able to choose their type of fish at the marketplace where the catch of the day is displayed. The fish are offered at surprising prices that vary based on supply and demand. At the market guests can order tasty side dishes to go with their meal. At the bar you can fill your own bucket with ice cold beers or great wines in order to experience the perfect combination of flavours. One of a kind, a new experience, Pesca is taking fish back to the basics. This is the mission of Pesca. Great Fish. Guests Love. Pesca, Theatre of fish.
