Excellent restaurant, enhanced by the beautiful setting of a converted monastery. I've been a few times and tried quite a few different dishes and have never been disappointed. Ask for suggestions as well as they've always been good. For the quality and servings it's not unreasonably priced at all. Recommended if you're in / around Maastricht.

We had a christmas lunch with the family on 26th December 2016. Standard Xmas menu at the expensive but acceptable price of 45,-€ for 3 courses. Good quality food, not exceptional, and very small portions. Wines on the wine-list were outrageously expensive; the cheapest are about 50,-€. Without having coffee we ended up 1000,-€ for 10.

So much to say. Located beautifully in a church. Even the toilet is worth a visit (you can look out the walls, no one can look in). More important, staff was superfriendly, as expected in a restaurant like this. Most important, the dishes.... no negatieve comments there. No over the top combinations, but well chosen ingredients that made modern haute... More

Actually one of the best fine dining experiences we had...ever. Great location in old church, very good service and just amazing food and wine. Apart from starters and main meals you get appetizers and some sort of high level snacks that are just as good as a la carte dishes. The atmosphere is great with deemed lights, discreet service and... More

Both a restaurant and a hotel, this building is impressive in the public areas from the 'copper' entrance tunnel to the open space and the mezzanine level restaurant. From the moment you reach the Restaurant you are in superb professional hands. We went for a three course chef's surprise menu it was an inspired choice. Presentation was superb as was... More

I come twice a year to Maastricht, which will include a trip to Kruisheren. Creative, good selection of wines, good polite service, good ambience, quiet, nice treats before the meal, excellent bread. Looking forward to the next times.

We spent a nice evening there with a 3 or 4 course menu. Was a stunning athmosphere in a re-built church.

We had a welcome buffet, a 4 course evening dinner and breakfast in this hotel and each meal was of very high quality and would easily warrant 2* Michelin rate.

I had a two course lunch here - starter and main course. Both were presently beautifully and tasted amazing. I highly recommend the restaurant here.

The church building features a mezzanine, which brings you a little closer to the “heavens” above, allowing you to view the beautiful ceiling and wall paintings in greater detail. The modern light installations that appear to be floating in mid-air create a somewhat other-worldly impression. The mezzanine is open every day for light lunches and dinner. The chef presents a variety of culinary surprises, and the team of waiting staff serves complementing wines from all over the world.
