Good coffee (from Maastricht coffee roaster Blanche Dael) in a former church that is now a bookstore. Very special atmosphere. It is a self service style coffee bar and the people serving you at the counter are very nice.

After some more or less disappointing coffee experiences, I was glad to discover Coffeelovers! Strong but balanced coffee and the stunning atmosphere of an old church witch was transformed into a bookshop.

We really liked that area. It's a coffee place in a bookshop! Something different in Maastricht, very beautiful and calm.

Everywhere else a "Coffeelovers" cafe would be an average self service lunch cafe, with average products and not-too-cheap prices. But then, being located in the former Dominican church, in the area where formerly the altar was, as part of the "Dominicanen" bookstore, brings this business...More
