This is the worst Fish and Chips I have ever eaten. We order Haddock and Chips and had to wait for it to be cooked. It was over cooked and hard fish. Chips were slimy and overcooked. Very greasy. Do not recommend. Was really looking...forward to it.More

Don't bother 5 stars? more like 3 star went today for dinner cost £7 for cod wich is same size as a bait fish and stale chips as the first /last bite of fish poured grease down my chin and the chips that makes macdonalds...in comparison a Michelin star restaurantMore

Chips are average but the fish was very good. Lots of locals came to collect while I was waiting so must be popular. They've got a hatch to collect pre-orders which reduces the footfall in the shop. Currently there's closed Mondays and Wednesdays and only...open for 2 hours at lunch and 2 hours at dinner so time your trip accordingly. We found them closed on our first attempt so went for a drink at the pub next door instead. Currently there is no indoor seating (presumably not enough space for social distancing) so it is take-out only.More

Was recommended to us. We were staying in Bakewell and travelled there. Very good quality and chips were like old fashioned chips

Can't fault their fish and chips. Pure white cod in a light batter. The chips aren't the usually lump of chippy grease they're proper home fried chips. Ben Shaw's to wash it all down too, lovely.

We waited for an hour on a busy Saturday night but it was so worth it, it is busy for reason. Tasty food, friendly staff and responsible with the current Covid problem, highly recommended.

We were staying nearby at an Airbnb and wanted a fish n chip supper. Really delicious fish and chips, with peas and curry sauce. Quality on parr with our favourite places at home and service was excellent. Fully set up for Covid safe service. Well...worth a visit.More

You get charged the top whack for fish and chips from this place but the fish portions are about half the size of normal. On the plus side everything is cooked to order. Mind you, having lived in Hull you get used to value for...money and excellent fresh fish portions.More

While staying in Longnor called in for fish and chips as recommended in our cottage book. We had takeaway and did not disappoint.
