Excellent "simple" high -quality kitchen . You will not regret. Have the Markbein and enjoy your stay.

This is a review for the bar. Entered at 22:30, and were told that the kitchen is closed. A cold cuts plate was impossible. Olives were also not possible to get due to .... kitchen closes at 22:00 with clockwork precision. Instead of being of useful service, the service personnel explained the fact when bringing our drinks with reference to... More

Great recommendation by our hotel front desk and just a short walk. The food was fantastic and the staff friendly and efficient. I'm still raving about the Zuri-geschnetzeltes and trying to make it myself. Maybe some day, I'll come close.

Food is good but about 30% overpriced. Tartar is CHF 40 and comes with french fries. No toast was offered, I couldn't be bothered to ask for this price. Tabbed water costs CHF 4, also not reasonable. Staff is friendly in general, location is nice. Daily menu looks good. Go there if you can put it on expenses, otherwise avoid.

A busy bistro with a good atmosphere and decor. Food excellent especially if you like beef and french fries. Good service. It is a bit on the expensive side for what it is even by Zurich standards. Make sure they give you some burli bread- the best bread in Zurich

We walked into this little place which looked like a local restaurant /lounge/cafe. It was bot more than 20% full. The host approached us friendly and spoke German. When we answered in English, she asked if we had a reservation which we said we didn't. She apologized and said the whole place was reserved which was a bit WEIRD, made... More

We had dinner at the restaurant a few time and were never disappointed. The food is amazingly delicious and fresh. The service is kind and welcoming.

What a lovely surprise. I was walking past and it looked good for a beer so I went in looked at the menu and stayed. The atmosphere is vibrant and the food delicious. I had a local speciality, a meat dish in a creamy mushroom sauce with a massive hashbrown. The beer was cold and refreshing. Recommend going!

I came here (to the Bederbar) for some drinks with colleagues in the early evening. Great atmosphere with a reasonable selection of beers on tap. Staff are friendly and helpful and the beer was very good. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Went for lunch. Enjoyed a cream of corn soup as an appetizer and fish with salad as a main. Generous portions of fresh, good quality, down to earth food. Nice, buzzing, friendly atmosphere set in a simple but modern decor. Really liked the place.
